https://www.molex.com/molex/products/datasheet.jsp?part=active/5000246471_PCB_RECEPTACLES.xml&channel=Products Is obsolete and very hardly available.

Drawing with its dimensions:

http://www.molex.com/pdm_docs/sd/5000246471_sd.pdf

  • 0.4 mm pitch
  • 0.95 mm mated height
  • 64 circuits
  • 5 mm wide.

The most limiting probably is the fact that it is so wide. 5mm wide means there is hardly any hope of compatibility between it and modern 2.6mm-wide variants.

Possible replacement?: https://www.molex.com/molex/products/datasheet.jsp;jsessionid=DRGz1uKvvoPu1KOJRq1bwHP1PGs7x3TBmUfZriIk.molex1?part=active/5024266412_PCB_RECEPTACLES.xml (although pitch is the same, it seems narrower (2.6 mm). Most probably incompatible.) Hirose DF30 family https://www.hirose.com/product/document?clcode=CL0684-1276-0-81&productname=DF30RC-60DP-0.4V(81)&series=DF30&documenttype=Catalog&lang=en&documentid=D48588_en Seems very appropriate, but doesn't have 64 pins Also hirose DF37 family.

One can also try and transplant an original connector from N900 motherboard to the new board, but there will be some failure rate.

Joerg says there is already a stock of sourced connectors just in case. So it is not really a short term concern, but rather a long term one.
