  1. Rod Page's TreeView X is a simple program for displaying phylogenies.

  3. - reads many different tree file formats (including NEXUS, PHYLIP,
  4. Hennig86, NONA, MEGA, and ClustalW/X)
  5. - supports standard the TrueType and Postscript fonts
  6. - supports native graphics file format for copying pictures into
  7. other applications, and for saving graphics files
  8. - print preview
  9. - can print multiple trees per page and/or one tree over more than
  10. one page
  11. - has drag-and-drop facility for easy opening of files
  12. - Web-based online help
  13. - tree editor

  15. This program is different from Michael Eisen's TreeView for matrix-
  16. like display of expression data. Also, we build the sources distributed
  17. by Debian.
