I always like the highest quality. Perhaps the best way to approach this is to allow the user to configure their preferred size. This could be done with a simple source edit but I think a config file would be optimal. 1400x1400 isn't too much at Deezer's bitrates. Itunes typically can go up to 4000x4000, that's a bit more space consuming.

Higher resolution artwork increases filesize, sometimes as big as the song itself hence d-fi uses optimized size.
