- My terminal client interprets the character '*' as a toggle with the
- meaning of *highlighted*.
- The highlight is turned off at the beginning of the line and changes state
- whenever only one character '*' is encountered.
- To hide the character '*' just put two adjacent.
- Each client is free to interpret the status of **highlighted** .
- Lines beginning "#", "##", "###" and "=>" are not scanned.
- My client puts the *highlight in bold* but I could highlight with the
- background color.
- I put the "quoted text" in italic.
