#75 add function in cbfstool, if not already written, to expand cbfs. for expanding smaller roms to fit on larger flash ICs, with also a larger cbfs size

the current libreboot docs say how to pad a rom, but it's just that: padding. cbfs doesn't get expanded

we can do better. and we will. this page is added as a todo.

currently, libreboot has separate configs for the same board, but with different flash sizes

i say this is wrong. vitali64 is working on a patch to make this a bit cleaner, but it still means having separate rom builds later on, for different rom sizes

i say we just build the smaller roms. and add (if not existing already) the functionality to expand cbfs, in cbfstool. then you will just dd a new rom, insert the old rom, do all the bits moving stuff around, and expand cbfs accordingly. it would be the best of both worlds and only require like, a few paragraphs of documentation
