I can use the r400 without an accumulator without any issues, except issue 3, but with an accu (original thinkpad) the device goes in spleep mode during booting (mostly with ubuntu distributions) and I must press the power button, to wake up the device and the boot process continuing. It goes in three or four times in sleep mode. After it, the r400 can used without this issue (only tested 4 or 7 hours). I've tested dieffent libreboot roms, the original from the testrelease and some self built roms withe the same result. I read some posts on irc, and... I'm not alone with it.
