#35 Kernel Panic and Freezes on Acer G43T-AM3

Installed Libreboot 20210522 on this board, but have been unsuccessful in installing any OS. Have tried Devuan, Artix, Guix, and Linux Mint. Devuan, Guix, and Artix gave no hints as to why they failed (they just totally froze), but Linux Mint crashed during the install with a kernel panic screen. I have not been able to reproduce that kernel panic screen.

I have installed Parabola once before, but upon installing additional software it froze like the other operating systems.

can you provide logs? specifically, kernel logs

I swapped the Core 2 Quad Q8400 for a Pentium E5700 and that seems to have resolved the issue since I was able to install Linux Mint with no issues. I guess it has something to do with quad cores (I pulled mine from a working machine).

Regardless, I was able to reproduce the error with the Q8400 (again, with Linux Mint), but I could only take a picture with my phone, because the live installer failed which left no kernel log to read. I hope this image is useful.
