It will be easier to get gogs into Debian GNU/Linux if the packaging work is already done before they get around to looking here.

I'm missing why you are saying it here? :)

I think this should be a job for the Gogs developers.

That link is a Microsoft walled garden link. Please don't direct people there. That is not where any development should be taking place.

Unfortunately, that is the official (and only) link for the Gogs software.

Please let everyone decide that for themselves.

The ones who care about the GtHub-MS connection will not click it or already have blocked that domain in some way and there are others who just don't care and you should not patronise them.

@yeti

No. Microsoft is a threat and should be treated like one, period.

@zPlus

If you're not willing to be the new official link that's fine.

You may treat MS as you want and I do it my way.

Don't force your opinions on others!

I'm not saying I'm pro-MS... I just want that everyone decides on his own. You are not our dictator.

Let's not start a flame war please :)

@themusicgod1 my opinion is that Gogs developers are the best people to take up this job, the same way Gitea developers have packaged it for Debian too.

I've said all I'm going to say to you.

Please add a "forever" in that sentence.

Thanks!
