It might be possible already but I haven't figured out how to do it in https://notabug.org/Ambrevar/mu4e-conversation/src/master/readme.org.

I've tried using an #+ATTR_HTML: :width 800px it didn't work.

Is .org markup different from .md?

.md with images

If not:

Oh, bummer! The parser doesn't read html, either. Some of my changelogs that have html tables (opposed to md tables) got jacked up after import.

Looks like Gogs has something in their development branch for org

this is a feature request for upstream gogs

notabug tried to stay as close to the upstream as possible; so this feature would probably not be implemented on notabug - if you would like to see this feature in notabug, the thing to do is search for any open issues on the gogs issue tracker relating to this feature and poke them to implement it or open a new one if thnone exists yet and ask them to implement it

any feature that is added to gogs will end up in notabug on the next routine upgrade unless there are freedom or privacy issues

OK, I've mentioned the issue here: https://github.com/gogs/gogs/issues/2809.
