When clicking on a toot it opens in a modal window as expected, but it only shows one toot, not e.g. replies. The thread (if available) is not displayed.

Using 2.3.0

Thank you very much for reporting this. I think that could be related to the code which should prevent duplicated threads within the timeline which was included a short time ago. I'll have a look into that and fix it with the next release.

I tried to reproduce the problem but I couldn't get it to fail. All posts with threads showed up the whole history as well as all replies. Are you sure that your Mastodon instance knows the whole thread you want Halcyon to show? Often what the instance of the original post knows differs from what your own instance knows. Halcyon can only request the posts which your instance knows.

I tried it again and now I succeed in getting the replies, but only when refreshing the browser window (F5).

Using Firefox 66.0.3 on Ubuntu 19.04.

I think I have another idea what may cause it now. Is the post of the thread you want to see a original post or a boost? When you hit F5 it always loads the original but maybe it can't handle the boost correctly when directly opening the overlay. If that's correct,it will be easy to fix. Likely just a wrong variable set somewhere. I'll have a look at it today.

That's exactly it! Non-boosted are OK, boosted not.
