In an info entry, it is not uncommon that the class number and letter randomly appear in the text, even though the class is not actually mentioned. A better filter for info-only entries should be come up with.

I don't think this is an issue that can be solved.
For example, schools might say "all 5th grades" instead of "5a, 5b, 5c and 5d". In that case, a user who endered "5b" might not be shown the entry.
To mitigate this risk, I have marked the "Always show general annoucements" option as "recommended" and turned it on by default.
