The notices received through OStatus arrive correctly; the ones from AP change the format of the text. Example:
- Pleroma (original): https://pl.im-in.space/notice/9uvtqlWPmabYuESS2K
- gnusocial.net: https://gnusocial.net/conversation/4818482#notice-7905119
(EDIT) It seems it is a different problem, and just related to this particular node. A test from another pleroma node works fine:
diogo: But I think the post you sent as an example is unrelated to how we're handling AP federation
diogo: I think the different presentation has to do with css
diogo: for some weird reason, pleroma is storing that text with enters instead of using paragraph tags for each
diogo: It's honestly surprising that they have a div holding the content in plain text and present it as is...
aab: you were right :) it's the same on a mastodon node
It seems fixed when remote notice comes from a mastodon server, but not from a pleroma one:
- Pleroma (original): https://barcelona.social/notice/A9OTUbdAY6Zyq1cLBY
- Gnusocial: https://khp.ignorelist.com/conversation/466147#notice-934214
