Create introductory materials: web page, presentation slides, blog post, etc.

Yes! Even as somebody who's been trying to follow along a bit its still really hard from the outside to understand what this is or participate in any way. Honestly it feels like vaporware — a pipe-dream more than something people are actually working on. That's not a criticism of the development process so much as the lack of public facing documentation or explanation, which is what this issue covers.
