Sorry, not sure if this is the right way to report an issue.
Anyway, if I run the standard ArchISO install ISO and pick the accessibility=on variant on my MacBook Pro 8,2 (2011) I get no sound output in zsh. The same ISO does give me sound output on a 2010 MacBook Air.
On the MBPro in zsh, espeak "test" does say "test" via the speaker. The sound hardware is handled by snd_hda_intel.
What can I do to check/correct the problem and get spoken zsh commands? What information do I need to provide to you?
Christoph
