Here is my ready-made fix for the portal duplication bug:

to install, simply replace the mods [planet_moon] and [planet_mars] with the new versions linked below:

moon: https://github.com/MisterE123/planet_moon/archive/master.zip

mars: https://github.com/MisterE123/planet_mars/archive/master.zip
