like gnusocial, mastadon, diaspora, twitter, etc. a bit, but has 10 levels of importance, n posts can be made with that level of importance, n users can mark up or down by same increments posts/posters. users can have their feeds filtered, per their choice, inclusively, by: the poster's importance setting on the post, the user's markups/downs of that poster's importance, and the average of the global cumulation of markups/downs of that poster, and, not mentioned yet interests (think like aspect tags but similarly importance weighted). thus users could easily manage the noise, stay connected to everything of interest, n see only that which is of sufficient importance to them.
