Health Activity Monitor. ham.

wat

just some web dev practice for something practical and productive towards managing health activities. rudimentary learning pokes for now, may be developed and meta'd into something useful for other peeps later too.

more dev waffle

(see in digitsschedule.html and other files for other dev waffle comments)

interesting conversations (about JSON-LD n such) in #peers on irc.libera.chat poke me towards better directions out of the confused ignorance of what web technologies can help me reach my goals with this.

may investigate xml for it. seems it may be a suitable way out of the headspin and wheelspin. closer to html which i know, and less wildly-different stuff to learn, keeping things cleaner and more consistent.

goals

  1. input form layout (done)
  2. functional input (in progress)
  3. output to (laying out aprox notion) 3a. append data (initial researching) 3b. rolling calendar (initial researching) 3c. and graph (nothing done yet)
  4. go meta, so other peeps can create their own activities list (unlike the static version just for Digit that it is currently)

so here we see where my knowledge and skills are up to so far, and what i need to learn, and what i need to work out how to proceed.

still to decide if calendar will be on same page, side scrolling, vert scrolling, and/or linear or grid.

for now, just fathoming how to output and append data somewhere would be a start / the next-step.

why

because workaholic-geekings lead to burn-out, and burn-out is no fun, so need more help to remedy this, and to ensure i do the things for my health.

... and the irony, of my risking burn-out on trying to fathom how to get this built, is not lost on me.
